Bikeathon 2007 in Montego Bay

INTERNATIONAL “BIKEATHON” 2007

The Rotary Club of Montego Bay East presents the 12th Anniversary of the International “Bikeathon/Jamaica Challenge 2007” on Sunday, April 22, starting at 7:00am sharp, at the Fairview Shopping Centre, Montego Bay.

Theme / Objective: Cycling for a cause – Education!!!!
The raising of JA$6,000,000.00 / US$100,000.00 to establish a fund to provide ongoing financial assistance for young persons unable to complete their education because of a lack of funds.
The Event :
“BIKEATHON” first staged in 1995, is an annual cycling event staged by the Rotary Club of Montego Bay East. As a competitive event, it is organized for cyclists of all categories. Recreational cyclists are only required to ride 25 kilometers, while participants in the Professional / Amateur category will ride 75 kilometers.
